An extraordinary monsoon broke and let the sunshine take control just in time for this wonderful adventure.

This was a perfectly wonderful, strangely mild, July wedding that I am proud to have been a part of. (Highlights for this wedding will be up on Wednesday, August 5.)

Angela and Daniel were the hosts of this dynamic wedding, which traversed Nashville from downtown fireworks to the old Riverwood Mansion.

Drew and Brittany were wed in a most breathtaking sanctuary and threw a fabulous party to boot.

It was a perfect country wedding in a little country wedding chapel. I am particularly struck by the wonderful grandparents who posed for me with the utmost skill.

The angelic Michelle and the iron-made Lucas tolerated me for two evenings as I leapt about their event setting like a wild monkee.

Providence shined over this beautiful spring day as we slipped between the rain clouds throughout our portrait session.

Sara and Steve threw the coolest DIY party. The soap, the wine, and the beer were all made from scratch. Oh, and they made the clouds part for the wedding. Pretty cool, huh?

The wonderful Jessica Cole invited me to join the party as she and David wed in Thompson Station, Tn, in a most charming country church.

This is yet another perfect October wedding--this time from the train station in Nashville.

Lori and Chris were supposed to be wed in Galveston, Texas. Then came hurricane Gustav. Hmm...after this extraordinarily beautiful event, I wonder if there is order in the madness. This was an absolutely wonderful event on Lake Tyler in the boondocks of Texas that I don't think could have been improved.

A perfect event! My brother was able to assist, and he performed flawlessly. This wedding crew was tremendously kind-spirited and tore it up on the dance floor.

It was a perfect October day in the most perfect garden--perhaps the most beautiful scene in Nashville. One might notice how many photos are taken from a low viewpoint, as I was suffering a bout of food poisoning that had my belly in a ball like a clenched fist--but not to worry, Lindsey and the rest of the wedding party were so radiant that they compensated for my ailment! Peyton and Jennifer renewed their wedding vows at Franklin's Sapphire restaurant. The potency of their decision was felt by all who visited and drew tears of joy from many of the guests. This is one of the most inspiring events that I have ever photographed.

Beautiful wonderful 60-degree Tennessee December day! Laura Ann was georgeous to match. I was privileged to shoot this wedding where she married into the most wonderful and kind Singh family.

Amy and Ryan were married in a beautiful Catholic sanctuary, in the now famous Elizabethtown, Kentucky. I got to drive to and fro inside the quaint town and really enjoyed the peace of being in a laid-back town with a great group of people who were incredibly warm and generous.
